Mirren Hendry | Gallery Manager

Your role: As Gallery Manager, I oversee our annual program of five rotating exhibitions, working closely with artists to bring each show from concept to installation. I build relationships with collectors and gallery visitors, while also coordinating the events hosted in our space, from exhibition openings to corporate events and weddings. My focus is on creating a welcoming, engaging environment where artists feel supported and visitors feel inspired to connect with the work.
Your story: I graduated from CU Boulder in the spring of 2024 and then moved back to Houston, where I grew up. While there, I worked two jobs, one in luxury sales and one at a fine art gallery, where I served as a Gallery Assistant. I gained hands-on experience supporting exhibitions, artists, and collectors, and developed a deeper understanding of the art world. I’m thrilled to be back in Colorado and excited to continue working with the inspiring artists and team at Walker Fine Art.
What inspires you: the Boulder creek, a walk in the sun, good music, coffee

Fun Hobbies: Aspiring quilter, novice printmaker, time spent with friends
Abbey Arlt | Marketing Manager
Your role: As the Marketing Manager for the gallery, I represent the voice of the gallery through branding via design, digital presence & press relations.
Your story: I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2012, and moved to Colorado immediately. I have been working with Walker since 2013. I love being on the Walker team because they allow me the encouragement to express my passion of working in the arts & the freedom to learn new skills.
What inspires you: Nature’s rhythms, the anticipation of the unknown & creative banter.
Three words that describe you: Open-minded, savvy and adventurous
Fun Hobbies: I love to be outside, practice yoga, attend concerts, try out new recipes, and create my own style through jewelry-making & thrifting.
