TOPOGRAPHIES OF BEING
On View September 12 - November 8, 2025
In TOPOGRAPHIES OF BEING, Walker Fine Art invites the viewers into a contemplative space where the natural work becomes a mirror for self-discovery. The three artists in this exhibition navigate the environment and inner life, using photography and mixed media to explore how nature stirs memory, evokes emotion, and reflects the complexities of who we are.
This group exhibition features the work of Joo Woo, Sandra Klein, and Angela Piehl.

ANGELA PIEHL
Fascinated with the macro-micro lens, ANGELA PIEHL evokes other worldly new forms in which the synthetic and organic merge and overlap in unexpected ways. The resulting visual ambiguity invites us to question preconceived notions of nature and beauty.
SANDRA KLEIN
How does one survive the despair of a fragmented life? SANDRA KLEIN reveals hidden narratives through her masterful play of light and shadow. Imagery of flora is met with collage and embroidery in effort to create a new image filled with acceptance and joy.
JOO YEON WOO
JOO YEON WOO explores the metaphorical intersections of immigration, memory, and place in her newest series. These intricate works on paper create visual narratives and maps traversing time and place between Korea and the United States.
